Both Chi-Town Union Station and the West Oakland Railroad Museum
are wholly dependent upon volunteers to continue their expansion
and operation.

The list of volunteer skills and talents needed by one or the
other organizations is very lengthy and includes general
business operating talents in addition to railroading and model
railroading.
Of immediate interest are people in the building trades and
architecture, model structure builders, scenery builders,
docents and even train engineers. We are also interested in
people who can speak publicly about railroading, especially
railroading in the past.
If you would like to become one of our volunteers we would urge
you to contact Paul Gribbell on the Chi-Town Union Station side,
or Seth Lampe for the West Oakland Railroad Museum during your
visit.
